pages document crashing and can't create a new one

In the past week or so, I've been getting a serious error either after I've done some editing on a Pages for iCloud using Safari, or sometimes I can't even load the document before getting that serious error. Just a few moments ago, I received a message indicating my document was deleted! It wasn't. A couple of times I've managed to copy the contents of the file and tried to create a new document, but iCloud wouldn't let me create a new document either. This has made Pages on iCloud totally unusable for me. Help?
